Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly skilled Solutions Consultant 2 to join their cybersecurity team in Nova Scotia, Canada. As part of a forward-thinking organization redefining the future of cybersecurity, this role focuses on shaping secure digital environments for clients across industries. The Solutions Consultant role is an advanced evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering position, where you will provide technical expertise, guide customers through their security transformation journey, and ensure the full realization of value from their investment in Palo Alto Networks solutions.

The ideal candidate will be an innovative thinker with strong technical and communication skills, capable of bridging complex cybersecurity concepts with customer business requirements. You will act as a trusted advisor, working closely with sales teams, professional services, and customer success teams to deliver integrated solutions across Palo Alto Networks’ portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and implement technical account strategies to exceed sales quotas and drive cross-platform adoption.

  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer business and technical needs, then propose tailored solutions.

  • Deliver impactful presentations, demos, technical workshops, and validation engagements.

  • Develop high-level solution designs across the PANW product suite, including Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and SOC transformation technologies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Professional Services, Customer Success, and Channel Resources to ensure seamless adoption and integration.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key technical stakeholders and influencers.

  • Lead successful proof-of-concept validations ensuring customer satisfaction and technical success.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in cybersecurity.

  • Invest continuously in your professional development to enhance both technical and leadership skills.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 6+ years of pre-sales or sales engineering experience.

  • Strong expertise in data networking, modern cloud environments, and cybersecurity architectures.

  • Proven success in delivering technical solutions and influencing business decision-making.

  • Experience in selling, designing, or implementing cybersecurity solutions.

  • Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience working in complex sales cycles involving multi-product solutions.

  • Proficiency in English; travel may be required for in-person client engagements.
