Palo Alto Networks® is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Solution Consultant (Service Provider Channel Systems Engineer) to join its Toronto team. This is a critical role within the sales team, responsible for enabling and building strong service provider partner relationships, developing technical solutions, and driving joint business value. The position demands technical expertise, relationship-building skills, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor for service provider partners.

The successful candidate will represent Palo Alto Networks as a technical authority, tasked with creating excitement and buy-in for the company’s cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. This role involves significant engagement with partner sales and technical teams, including demos, training, enablement, communication, and ongoing technical relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Align partner needs and strategies with Palo Alto Networks’ value proposition.

• Deliver compelling product demonstrations across the full platform.

• Provide enablement and technical training to national/strategic partners.

• Support partner business planning by developing and executing technical business strategies.

• Guide partner Sales Engineers in achieving Palo Alto Networks and industry certifications.

• Oversee partner pre-sales activities, including competitive analysis, POCs, demos, test plans, and RFP responses.

• Build trust and strong relationships with partners, field SEs, and cross-functional teams.

• Provide localized technical training and enablement for pre-sales and post-sales resources.

• Collaborate on channel business plans and mutual action strategies with sales leadership.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of the Canadian Service Provider partner community, technology landscape, and competitive environment.

• Proven experience in network, endpoint, cloud, and application security solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to present, communicate, and write effectively.

• Experience in qualifying partner needs and developing tailored technical strategies.

• Prior background as an SE or Systems Integrator highly desirable.

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCIE, SANS, etc., preferred.

• Familiarity with modern datacenter, public cloud, security automation, orchestration, network forensics, and incident response is advantageous.
