Software Project Manager

Carré Technologies Inc. (operating under the Hexoskin brand) is seeking a Software Project Manager to join its development team in Montreal. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead software projects in a fast-growing, innovative environment specializing in wearable health technology, AI-driven services, and non-invasive health monitoring solutions.

The Software Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring software customization projects across their entire lifecycle, ensuring that customer satisfaction and project deliverables are consistently achieved. This role requires close collaboration with the R&D team, as well as interaction with teams across software, hardware, and textile divisions.

The successful candidate will bring a proven track record in project management, software/hardware development, and Agile methodologies, while thriving in a results-oriented environment that promotes innovation and cutting-edge solutions in healthcare, defense, aerospace, and academic research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed project plans and schedules.

• Manage engineering team activities by creating and maintaining a coherent development strategy for Hexoskin products.

• Monitor project budgets and control expenditures effectively.

• Track progress against project plans and delivery commitments, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders.

• Develop and execute quality plans, project plans, test strategies, and process improvements in collaboration with management and project teams.

• Lead and manage the bug reporting process to ensure timely resolution.

• Represent the development team in meetings with management, client support, and customers.

• Ensure compliance with the Design Control Process as defined in the Quality Manual.

• Define and implement Product Maintenance release plans.

• Maintain the effectiveness and applicability of QA tools and reporting systems.

• Review and approve claim support data, verification, and validation reports.

Required Competencies & Skills:

• Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Analytical mindset with hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance metrics.

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and French.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software/hardware development.

• Proven knowledge of Agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite is an asset.

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.

• Solid understanding of software testing methods, principles, and tools.
