Nordiqon Venture Studio is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer (AI-Augmented) with expertise in Laravel and React to join their fast-moving venture-building ecosystem. This unique opportunity allows engineers to become co-builders of impactful startups alongside immigrant founders, global operators, and ambitious product minds. The role is remote-first, with preference for candidates based in Canada, and offers equity-first compensation, providing ownership in the ventures you help create.

As an engineer at Nordiqon, you won’t just be coding to specifications—you’ll be acting as a venture architect, helping build multiple early-stage ventures from the ground up. The role emphasizes rapid MVP development, leveraging AI-native tooling (Vibe.dev, Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to accelerate build time, and creating scalable Laravel APIs with React/Next.js frontends that deliver clean, fast user experiences.

You will work closely with founders, designers, and product leaders in a high-feedback environment where iteration, bold decision-making, and real-world learning drive progress. Responsibilities include developing backend logic, building user interfaces, shaping infrastructure and stack decisions, and influencing technical hiring as ventures scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-build MVPs across 1–2 early-stage ventures with speed and agility.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and compress development cycles.

• Build robust Laravel APIs and backend logic designed for scalability.

• Develop intuitive, performant React/Next.js frontends.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to iterate based on user feedback.

• Influence early technology stack and infrastructure decisions.

• Contribute to shaping hiring practices for technical teams within growing ventures.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building MVPs, thrives in early-stage environments, and understands how to balance duct-tape coding for speed with scalable engineering for growth. You should be AI-fluent, capable of integrating modern tools into your workflow, and comfortable working asynchronously while taking full ownership of deliverables. Global mindset and the ability to work with diverse, underserved user bases is highly valued.

Preferred Tech Stack:

• Backend: Laravel / PHP, MySQL or Postgres

• Frontend: React / Next.js, Tailwind or Material UI

• Infrastructure & Tools: Firebase / Supabase, RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines

• AI & Integrations: OpenAI, Claude, Pinecone, LangChain, Copilot, Vibe.dev, Replit, ChatGPT plugins
