Description:
Accerta, a B-Corp certified social enterprise supporting government healthcare programs, is seeking an Social Media Specialist to drive the development, implementation, and scaling of AI and machine learning initiatives. This role requires a strategic and technically proficient leader capable of translating business challenges into AI-driven solutions, overseeing end-to-end AI solution architecture, and leading cross-functional teams. As the bridge between business strategy and technical execution, you will shape Accerta’s AI roadmap, define best practices, ensure ethical AI use, and support the organization’s digital transformation goals.
Translate business challenges into AI-solvable problems and design scalable AI/ML technical roadmaps.
Architect robust, secure AI solutions including model, platform, and infrastructure selection.
Lead design, development, and deployment of end-to-end AI/ML pipelines.
Provide hands-on technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews for AI/ML teams.
Oversee all stages of the AI lifecycle: data acquisition, feature engineering, training, evaluation, deployment (AI Ops), and monitoring.
Stay current with cutting-edge AI research and drive adoption of innovative tools and practices.
Lead and mentor data scientists, ML engineers, automation specialists, and software developers.
Communicate AI strategies, architectures, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate risks related to data, scalability, model performance, and system reliability.
Champion ethical AI, fairness, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
Drive implementation of AI Ops best practices to ensure reliable and scalable AI deployment.
Establish QA processes and performance metrics for AI systems.
Ensure adherence to standards of security, privacy, and responsible AI.
Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline.
Certifications in Agile/Scrum/Project Management (PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM) considered an asset.
Proven experience leading AI/ML projects and enterprise digital transformation efforts.
Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks, tools, and best practices.
Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure Machine Learning, Power BI.
Strong data literacy: pipelines, data quality, lifecycle impacts.
Strong project management skills with ability to deliver complex initiatives.
Stakeholder management experience; ability to align technical teams with business needs.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Understanding of ethical and regulatory considerations related to AI and data.
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Strategic thinker with hands-on technical fluency.
Proactive, innovative, and adaptable to green-field development.
Strong communicator capable of simplifying complex AI concepts.
