Description:

MSCI Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Specialist to join its innovative marketing and communications team. This role is ideal for a results-driven individual with a strong background in social media marketing, who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment.

You will collaborate closely with the social media, marketing, and communications teams to enhance MSCI’s online presence, create impactful social content, and support strategic initiatives, including employee advocacy, brand awareness, campaign delivery, and crisis communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the social media team to develop and execute effective strategies.

  • Create and schedule content across platforms such as Twitter and LinkedIn, ensuring alignment with the editorial calendar.

  • Monitor and report social media performance using analytics tools, providing insights for optimization.

  • Assist the communications team during crisis situations by analyzing social media sentiment and engagement.

  • Support the expansion of MSCI’s employee advocacy program through curated content distribution.

  • Partner with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with broader marketing initiatives.

  • Conduct trend and audience behavior research, including competitor analysis.

  • Stay current on social media trends and best practices to continually improve strategy.

  • Generate creative and innovative content ideas to enhance engagement and reach.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Social Media Marketing, or related field (preferred).

  • Minimum 4 years of direct experience managing social media accounts.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proficient in social media tools and analytics platforms; experience with Sprinklr is a plus.

  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and content strategies.

  • Creative mindset with a strong ability to craft compelling, engaging content.

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
