Social Media Specialist

Description:

Reporting to the Communications Coordinator, the Social Media Specialist will manage the online representation of the ANC brand through the association's own social networks, such as ANC website, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms. We are seeking an energetic, analytical and creative team player who will be in charge of ANC brand messaging , increasing follower base and overall positive engagement with customers online.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Generate, curate, and schedule engaging content (graphics and appropriate language) for varying platforms, including social media, website, reports, news releases, and print publications
• Review, curate and manage photo and video assets for use on social media
• Monitor the ANC website to add and update content according to organizational needs, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Help coordinate project launches and aid in design and production of marketing collateral.
• Liaise with internal and external partners as needed to ensure accurate and timely content
• Professionally manage community and conversation on social media by promptly responding to and redirecting incoming inquiries on e-mail, Facebook Messenger, and other platforms
• Stay current with social media trends and best practices in community service sector
• Measure and improve content performance by tracking and evaluating analytics
• Other general duties as assigned
