Simulation Software Engineer

Description:

Responsibilities:

• Write software applications to test and simulate vehicle suspension control systems
• Continually push technology to develop HIL/ MIL testing capabilities that can be included within a CI environment (Continuous Integration)
• Collaborate with software, test and integration teams to define the test requirements, test environment and pass/ fail criteria
• Primarily define and implement software unit tests and HIL regression tests, but also to be involved in vehicle/ rig tests in cases that require it

Qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering focused on simulation
• 1+ years of experience in automotive simulation or development (thermal management, body controls, dynamics)
• Experience with Matlab/ Simulink, C/C++, Python, Real Time Operating Systems, embedded systems, Linux, Microsoft Windows is desired.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and time constraints, apply creative and critically thinking to deliver exceptional results
• Familiarity with the following: CAN, GIT, and Pytest is a plus.
