Position Summary:
The technicians will work under the guidance of the Shop Manager to carry out repairs, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of heavy equipment. The goal is to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime, ensuring clients receive the most reliable equipment service possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles.

• Conduct preventive maintenance services following set checklists.

• Communicate findings and repair requirements to management and clients effectively.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

• Undertake additional related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Must be a certified 3rd year, 4th year, or Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician or Journeyman Automotive Technician.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with construction or heavy equipment maintenance.

• Must possess a complete set of hand and air tools (large specialty tools and diagnostic equipment will be provided).

• Physically fit to perform field and shop duties.

• Dealership experience or formal training is a strong asset.

• Proficiency in equipment diagnostics, particularly hydraulics and electrical systems.

• Ability to read and apply hydraulic and electrical schematics.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
