Description:

World Agriculture & Opportunities is seeking a dedicated Sheep Feedlot Worker to join their team in Fort MacLeod, Alberta. This on-site role involves supporting the day-to-day operations of a sheep feedlot, ensuring proper care, feeding, and management of the livestock. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of animal welfare.

Responsibilities:

  • Feed and care for sheep in the feedlot according to established schedules and procedures.

  • Monitor the health and behavior of livestock and report any concerns to management.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the feedlot facilities.

  • Assist with routine inspections, vaccinations, and other animal husbandry tasks as directed.

  • Follow safety and operational protocols at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • No formal education required.

  • Previous experience in livestock handling or agricultural work preferred (7 months to less than 1 year).

  • Ability to work on-site in all weather conditions.

  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labor.

  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
