Service Technician

Description:

Stream-Flo Industries Ltd., a leading Canadian manufacturer of wellhead, production gate valve, and check valve equipment since 1962, is seeking Service Technicians to join its Edmonton team. These roles are crucial for ensuring product installation, equipment maintenance, customer property management, and providing technical support in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair wellheads and related equipment while providing superior customer service.

• Maintain assigned service units, including tools, equipment, and spare parts.

• Deliver, assemble, test, and paint wellhead assemblies.

• Repair customer property and ensure service reports and documentation are properly completed.

• Support sales and customer relations activities as required.

• Uphold Health & Safety standards by following company policies and procedures.

• Travel to other branch locations for training or support as needed.

• Perform related duties such as vehicle and shop maintenance when necessary.

Requirements:

• High school diploma.

• 1–3 years of relevant industry experience preferred; candidates with mechanical aptitude will be trained.

• Strong customer service, problem-solving skills, and safety-focused work ethic.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Valid Class 1, 3, or 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Must comply with alcohol and drug testing policies for customer site access.

Preferred Assets:

• Knowledge of wellhead products and the energy industry.

• Certifications such as H2S, Fall Arrest, First Aid, CSO Training.

• Thermal wellhead experience.

• Folding Boom Truck Crane (22 tonnes and under), CraneSafe or equivalent certification.
