Description:
NCR Atleos, a global leader in financial access solutions headquartered in Atlanta, is seeking a Field Service Technician II for its Ottawa, Ontario operations. This position plays a vital role in maintaining and servicing advanced electromechanical equipment such as ATMs and self-checkout systems used by major financial institutions and retailers worldwide.
The Field Service Technician II acts as the first line of response for customers, delivering hands-on support, maintenance, and installation services that keep commerce running smoothly. Perform installation, maintenance, and service calls for electromechanical equipment such as ATMs and self-checkout systems.
Troubleshoot and repair hardware, network, and software-related issues efficiently within assigned territories.
Manage and maintain system configurations, network security, and remote system access.
Conduct system overhauls and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, parts usage, and system status updates.
Uphold NCR Atleos’s standards for customer satisfaction, safety, and professionalism.
Work flexible schedules, including rotating and weekend shifts, and travel several hours per day as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be local to the Ottawa area.
Must have Canadian permanent residency.
Minimum age of 19 years.
Valid G-class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong PC and basic electronic skills with familiarity in operating systems.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, squat, stand, and perform repetitive tasks.
Comfortable with prolonged travel and extended driving hours.
Preferred (Asset) Qualifications:
Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.
Certifications such as A+, CompTIA, or Network+.
At least one year of field service or technical repair experience.
Comprehensive virtual and hands-on technical training provided by NCR Atleos.

Salary Range: CAD 40,800 – CAD 59,200 annually (based on experience).
