Description:
Arrive Logistics is a leading logistics company that delivers exceptional service across the U.S. and is now expanding its operations in Canada with the opening of its Toronto office. The SVP of Strategic Partners will play a crucial role in accelerating revenue growth for key accounts, leveraging experience in the transportation industry to build credibility, cultivate new business, and strengthen relationships with existing clients. The role focuses on full truckload services, new business development, and ensuring continuous growth with key accounts.
As the SVP, you will be responsible for business development and ensuring that Arrive’s existing accounts are nurtured to drive year-over-year growth. This leadership role requires operational and procurement skills, as well as a strong work ethic and curiosity for business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize your logistics expertise to get Arrive in front of senior leadership at regional accounts.
Cultivate executive sponsorship by demonstrating deep knowledge of the industry, shippers, and market.
Increase Arrive’s footprint by designing and selling custom solutions for both new and existing clients.
Contribute to new business acquisition through consultative selling and creative vision.
Develop and enhance processes to exceed client expectations and set growth vision for large accounts.
Negotiate rates and volumes for a variety of transportation services.
Own core growth metrics for clients in your territory.
Manage the Quarterly Business Review process and present critical metrics showcasing Arrive’s growth.
Prevent leakage to competitors by creating Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Develop and implement Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) when necessary.
Oversee critical customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Mentor junior sales team members as needed.
Stay informed on logistics, supply chain, and transportation trends.
Monitor competitive service offerings and technology innovations.
Be a thought leader within the organization and challenge the status quo.
Travel up to 75% as necessary. The role is remote but will focus on territories in Canada.
Qualifications:
Currently based in Canada (Relocation assistance not provided).
7+ years of professional experience in the transportation industry.
5+ years of experience in transportation or supply chain roles at a large shipper, ideally at a Fortune 500 company.
Proven ability to collaborate closely with a sales team and sales management.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to quickly build trust with different levels of management.
High level of initiative and hustle.
Capable of working independently, as this is a remote role.
Ability to collaborate with an experienced team of executive customer relations professionals.
