MSCI Inc., a leading global provider of investment decision support tools and services, is seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer, Web Experience to join their dynamic team in Toronto. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping MSCI.com into a user-centered platform that connects audiences with vital information and solutions. This role is ideal for a seasoned UX professional with a passion for human-centered design, usability, and data-driven decision-making.

As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating polished, modern designs that balance user needs with marketing goals. You will develop upper-funnel web experiences that enhance engagement and drive business performance while ensuring consistency, scalability, and accessibility in line with WCAG 2.1 AA and EU/CA standards. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting user research, usability testing, and implementing iterative optimizations to enhance user journeys and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver visually modern and polished UX designs aligned with marketing and branding goals.

• Create public-facing, marketing-focused digital experiences that drive engagement.

• Maintain and evolve the design system for scalability and accessibility.

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and leverage data-driven insights.

• Optimize user flows using experimentation and performance analytics.

• Champion usability, information architecture, and interaction design best practices.

• Collaborate with marketing, engineering, analytics, and product teams to deliver cohesive experiences.

Requirements:

• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX and visual design expertise (mandatory).

• 6+ years of UX design experience, preferably in enterprise-level or financial services environments.

• Proficiency in Figma, web technologies (HTML/CSS), and accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA, EU/CA).

• Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and usability heuristics.

• Experience with data analysis, experimentation, and iterative design improvements.

• Excellent communication skills to articulate design rationale and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
