Senior Telecommunications Analyst

Description:

Our Public Sector client is seeking a Senior Telecommunications Analyst to support a large-scale Wi-Fi deployment initiative across Government of Canada environments.

The successful candidate will work with user communities, security specialists, operations teams, major capital project stakeholders, and external service providers to support the planning, documentation, tracking, and implementation of Wi-Fi capabilities. This is a contract role and will involve providing technical advice, preparing documentation and reporting materials, and supporting procurement-related activities tied to Wi-Fi deployment requirements.

Duties include but are not limited to:
 

• Complete, review and create artifacts in relation with Wi-Fi deployment
• Attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders to Public Sector client
• Participate in teleconference
• Create and document status reports and dashboards
• Follow the procurement strategy based on technical requirements to acquire Wi-Fi from external vendors
   

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:
 

• Certificate, diploma, or degree in telecommunications, information technology or computer science from a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution
• Must clearly demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience in the last 5 years in working on high scale Gc Wi-Fi projects across Canada
• Must clearly demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience in the last 5 years in Shared Services Canada’s culture and processes
• Experience providing technical advice and guidance related to Wi-Fi requirements
• Experience developing, reviewing, and documenting technical or project artifacts for submission to external stakeholders or vendors
• Experience preparing status reports and dashboards for management or senior stakeholders
• Experience supporting procurement activities based on technical requirements
