Description:

Mastercard, a global leader in payment technology, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Specialist – Product Commercialization to join its Security Solutions Organization in Toronto, ON. This role involves driving the development and execution of commercialization strategies for a diverse range of products and initiatives, contributing to the growth of Mastercard’s innovative offerings across more than 110 products. The selected candidate will play an essential role in aligning product development with market needs, accelerating time-to-market, and ensuring products deliver substantial business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and streamline product commercialization processes and resources to efficiently bring products/solutions to market.

  • Coordinate with product managers and key stakeholders to ensure consistency through Mastercard’s Studio Process, managing product lifecycles and accelerating customer value.

  • Assist with developing complex go-to-market (GTM) plans tailored to global scalability while addressing regional nuances.

  • Align product timelines, portfolios, and roadmaps with global and regional teams to identify synergies across product families.

  • Support creation of product narratives, market-specific sales strategies, distribution, and pricing plans.

  • Drive institutionalized knowledge by documenting processes to ensure repeatability and consistency.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to evaluate new use cases and optimize product usage.

  • Meet established revenue growth and expense targets.

  • Provide support in strategic engagements related to Financial Crime Risk Management, Identity, Digital Fraud Risk, Cyber Risks, and Systemic Risk.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of product development and management principles; familiarity with Mastercard’s Studio process is a plus.

  • Proven experience in product commercialization or development preferred.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Understanding of financial concepts such as product pricing and business case development is advantageous.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across regions and functions.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with urgency, accountability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
