Role Overview:
The Senior Software Engineer will be part of Cresta’s Core Platform team, responsible for building a secure, scalable, and extensible authentication system supporting internal workflows and external integrations. The role demands full stack engineering expertise across authentication systems including user, service accounts, virtual agents, and cloud-based authentication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering efforts on Cresta’s authentication stack (frontend and backend).

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve the platform and meet customer requirements.

• Own customer-facing deliverables and maintain best engineering practices.

• Build and support authentication systems such as sign-in, multi-factor authentication, BYOID (Bring Your Own Identity), and custom auto-login solutions.

• Migrate legacy authentication systems to modern, secure industry standards.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with strong fundamentals.

• 8+ years in Identity and Access Management or related domains.

• Proficient coding skills with experience in authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, FIDO 2.0).

• Backend expertise in Golang (gRPC, Protocol Buffers).

• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS).

• Familiarity with React or Angular for frontend development.

• Proven technical leadership in full stack authentication and security product features.
