Senior Software Engineer

Description:

VTRAC Consulting Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development of Quality Control Software Systems. This dynamic role involves designing and implementing software solutions that support Industry 4.0 applications, such as integrating machine learning vision systems and real-time location systems. The ideal candidate will work in a forward-thinking environment, contribute to Agile SCRUM processes, and develop microservices-based solutions that enhance production processes. This role will be a key part of the team, providing solutions for software development cycles, from concept to implementation, ensuring robust and scalable software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust software solutions to support quality control operations.

• Conduct thorough testing and validation of software components to ensure performance and reliability.

• Work closely with production teams to understand operational needs and provide technical support.

• Integrate technologies such as machine learning and real-time location systems into existing software infrastructure.

• Contribute to Agile SCRUM processes, providing innovative solutions for ongoing system enhancements.

• Document technical processes and solutions clearly for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience with RESTful APIs using .NET and Spring Boot.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL.

• Strong understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.

• Experience in SAP web development using Angular.

• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), streaming tools (Apache Kafka/Rabbit MQ), caching technologies (Redis), containerized tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform), and operating systems (Linux and Windows).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Post-secondary education in computer science or a related discipline.
