Senior Software Developer

🚀 We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to lead the development of complex applications and cloud-based services.
📍 Location: Toronto, ON | Onsite

✅ MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE
• Leading teams and managing development teams, including guiding technical direction, coordinating development work, and keeping delivery aligned with approved architecture and objectives.
• Mentoring developers and providing technical guidance in multidisciplinary teams.
• Developing complex enterprise or public-facing applications using Java.
• Turning technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria into working software.
• Building application components across user interfaces, APIs, services, integrations, business logic, and databases.
• Developing and deploying cloud-based microservices in Microsoft Azure, including deployment pipelines, configuration management, and application monitoring.
• Working with APIs, integration patterns, automated deployment, and configuration management.
• Developing automated tests for user interfaces, APIs, and databases, as well as unit and integration tests.
• Applying object-oriented, structured, and Agile development methods.
• Reviewing code and applying development, security, documentation, and testing standards.
• Using secure coding practices, addressing vulnerabilities, and troubleshooting defects, performance issues, reliability concerns, and integration failures.
• Supporting CI/CD, production readiness, deployments, business acceptance testing, implementation, and post-deployment stabilization.
• Participating in solution design and technical planning; estimating work; contributing to sprint and release planning; and identifying risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
