Senior Software Developer

Description:

• Interpreting technical requirements to design and implement high quality, maintainable software for various business needs.
• Maintaining and enhancing inhouse applications.
• Ensuring collection, quality, and consistency of data in order to support Machine Learning initiatives.
• Responding to technical support requests. Investigating, troubleshooting, resolving bugs and applying hot fixes to live software when necessary.
• Following and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Researching and recommending new trending technologies, enhancements, and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• Postsecondary degree or diploma in computer science or a related discipline.
• Experience with SQL, .NET, C#.
• Experience with web development technologies.
• Experience with agile practices and version control software.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.
• Ability to think logically and analytically, and to constructively express ideas and concepts.
• Organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints.
• Ability to work independently and in a team by collaborating to solve complex problems.
• Ability to learn business processes and requirements for a project and make recommendations.
