Description:
Arm is seeking experienced SoC Architects to join its Solution Engineering SoC Architecture team in Toronto. In this senior technical role, you will architect and design high-volume, sophisticated SoC platforms leveraging Arm IP across multiple market segments. You will contribute to the development of production-quality silicon with exceptional performance and power efficiency, collaborating with both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop Arm SoC architecture based on Arm product IP and system architecture to meet compute requirements.
Collaborate with Arm architecture and core technology teams to align roadmap and platform development.
Work with a team of SoC architects to deliver multiple engagements in parallel across partners.
Optimize end-to-end platform solutions in collaboration with core, technology, and software teams.
Identify key use cases and workloads to showcase Arm IP/platform capabilities.
Coordinate delivery of Arm IP into SoCs and ensure lessons learned inform future IP development.
Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and stay current on industry trends and new technologies.
Lead partner and customer-specific architecture discussions and refine specifications for design and implementation teams.
Required Skills and Experience:
Significant experience in architecting scalable SoCs on advanced nodes across multiple market segments.
Expertise in areas including heterogeneous compute architectures, power management, clocking, coherent/non-coherent interconnect, PCIe/CXL, multi-level caching, functional profiling & debug, security & access control, virtualization, memory hierarchies, 2.5D/3D packaging, performance/power modeling, soft real-time accelerators, DRAM technologies.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills; able to present at executive levels.
Ability to influence engineering and business teams across internal and external organizations.

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, changing environments.
Prepared to challenge the status quo constructively at a senior level.
Proven track record of delivering multiple sophisticated projects on time and to specification.
