Key Responsibilities

  • Handle residential real estate files from start to finish (purchase, sale, refi, private lending)
  • Prepare various requests for discharges, postponements, informations statements, tax certificates, etc.
  • Prepare and complete final reports to lenders and clients Directly communicates with lenders, clients, municipalities, other lawyer’s offices etc.
  • Organizes and maintains physical and electronic files, assist with submitting executed documents

 

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in real estate law within a law firm environment
  • A post-secondary diploma in a related Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk program, or equivalent years of experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and One Drive
  • Excellent organization, time-management, and verbal + written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently on multiple files with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrates a professional demeanor,
