Senior Project Manager

 

Description:

AMS (Alexander Mann Solutions), a world-leading provider in talent outsourcing and consulting, is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead HR services and Talent Acquisition implementation projects. This 3–4 month contract role is ideal for individuals with a proven background in deploying people, processes, and technologies across HR functions and transforming Talent Acquisition operations.

As part of AMS’s Implementation & Transformation team, you will drive new client implementations, operational remediations, and business change initiatives, working closely with senior stakeholders both internally and externally. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable quality outcomes, maintaining stakeholder satisfaction and operational readiness.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end implementation and transformation lifecycle of HR and Talent Acquisition services.

  • Deliver projects within scope, budget, and timeline, ensuring clear documentation and communication of goals and outcomes.

  • Lead project governance efforts by developing and maintaining project initiation documents, RAID logs, tollgate plans, and steering committee materials.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while escalating issues where necessary and maintaining strategic alignment with AMS objectives.

  • Act as a primary point of contact with internal delivery teams and external client stakeholders to ensure aligned execution.

  • Facilitate and manage change control procedures and resource assignments.

  • Support cross-functional collaboration and ensure team engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Oversee workstream leads and manage weekly internal and client project review updates.

  • Capture lessons learned and implement continuous improvement measures in delivery standards.


Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

  • Strong experience managing HR or resourcing service implementations and transformation projects.

  • In-depth understanding of the Talent Acquisition lifecycle from prior experience in Recruitment, TA, or HR operations.

  • Proven experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Strong ability to lead matrix teams and manage complex project scopes with confidence.

Desirable:

  • Experience delivering consulting engagements and working with c-suite executives.

  • Knowledge of various TA services such as permanent and contingent workforce models.

  • Familiarity with outsourced services contracts and change control methodologies.

  • Multilingual abilities, particularly in Canadian French, are an asset.
