Description:
As a Senior Program Manager (SPM), the SPM focuses on leading complex projects from initiation to closure, overseeing scope, budget, and timelines while managing cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Key duties include strategic planning, resource allocation, process improvement, reporting to executives, and mentoring junior PMs, requiring strong leadership, communication.
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables; create detailed plans, schedules, and budgets; track progress and manage resources.
- Stakeholder & Team Management: Communicate regularly with stakeholders and executives; lead, motivate, and mentor project teams; resolve issues; manage vendors.
- Risk & Quality: Implement risk management plans; ensure quality standards and compliance; report on performance and risks.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to maturing project management methodologies; utilize project management tools (e.g., DevOps).
- Business Development: Assist with proposals, RFPs, and estimates.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Project Management: Planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
- Leadership: Team motivation, conflict resolution, strategic thinking, decision-making.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for all levels, facilitation.

Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, business management, or related area of study.
- 10-15 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar role.
- Experience in managing delivery of customer-facing products or services.
- PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization.
- Aviation industry experience.
