Senior Product Designer

Description:

Axonify, a leading AI-first learning and enablement platform, is seeking a Senior Product Designer to act as the voice of the user and craft impactful, intuitive experiences across their platform. This role collaborates closely with Product Management and Development teams from ideation to launch, ensuring solutions are usable, effective, and aligned with business goals. Axonify empowers frontline teams in over 160 countries to achieve higher sales, improved safety, better customer experience, and lower turnover.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand the Problem Space:

• Conduct UX research to understand user needs, behaviors, pain points, and motivations

• Collaborate with Product Managers to analyze research and identify product implications

• Create journey maps, workflows, and artifacts to articulate insights

• Focus on user needs, expectations, and market trends

Design Solutions:

• Work across all stages of product development with PMs, developers, and other teams

• Create simple, intuitive, and visually compelling user experiences

• Observe customer interactions with products/prototypes to identify friction

• Contribute to overall platform architecture and product offerings

Culture & Process Advocacy:

• Promote a product- and design-first culture across the organization

• Champion design tools and processes to improve decision-making and product impact

• Improve team processes, efficiency, and user experience quality

• Foster transparent collaboration with cross-functional partners

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven ability to execute all phases of the design process

• Research-driven, outcome-oriented, iterative approach

• Systemic thinking and simplification of complex problems

• Strong collaboration and cross-functional communication

• Curiosity about frontline workforce challenges and commitment to solving them

• Experience designing with AI is a plus

• Balance between accountability, results, and user empathy

• Comfortable in a dynamic scale-up environment

Work Location:
Hybrid-flexible. Toronto or Waterloo offices, or home office. In-office Wednesdays for team collaboration.
