Senior Platform Developer

Dialogue is Canada’s #1 virtual care provider, offering an Integrated Health Platform supporting millions of people across 49,000+ organizations. The platform powers white-label mobile apps and desktop software to deliver healthcare services.

The Senior Platform Developer, Backend will work on platform tools and services that enable Dialogue’s products. The role focuses on building and operating platform technologies to improve security, reliability, agility, and data integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance an events platform to improve reliability and compliance of data produced by Dialogue’s products.

• Support external integrations, client analytics, and business functions like pricing and invoicing.

• Empower technical colleagues to build member-focused features efficiently.

• Own platform capabilities including workflow orchestration, data warehouse infrastructure, user authentication/authorization, and member engagement platform.

• Design, build, maintain, and operate HTTP services, data pipelines, libraries, and infrastructure components.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Enjoy creating long-term business value with platform technologies.

• Experience in distributed, service-oriented architecture development.

• Comfortable designing software and discussing architectural decisions and trade-offs.

• Familiarity or willingness to learn event delivery architectures and data synchronization architectures.

• Test-Driven Development experience is a plus.

• Experience (or willingness to learn) Python APIs with PostgreSQL, AWS infrastructure with Terraform, Snowflake data warehouse, and Airflow workflows.
