Senior Platform Conduct & Compliance Manager – Salary circa £70,000

A bit about the job:
The Risk and Compliance function, operates in the ‘Second Line of Defence (2LoD)’ and is responsible for ensuring Aviva entities operate within their regulatory boundaries and are ahead of changes impacting their customers. Our team generates value by helping the businesses to grow safely, comply with regulatory requirements, ensure good customer outcomes and maintain strong regulatory relationships.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Experienced individual with compliance, conduct, risk management and/or technical background, with comprehensive understanding of the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of the regulatory expectations of Aviva, with expertise in investment or pension firms and associated regulatory regimes (such as MiFID and COBS).
Ability to challenge ‘in the moment’ 1LoD senior managers, ‘Heads of’ and Directors, managing conflict and building credibility, as well as proving resilient to reciprocal challenge.
Inspire and lead self and others to deliver change safely but at pace.
Highly articulate and able to form and express an independent view and influence key stakeholders.
