Senior Performance Engineer

Description:

Apex Systems is seeking an Operational Readiness Test Engineer for a major technology client to author and maintain manual test cases and breakage/chaos scenarios aligned with 450+ NFRs related to Payment Platform Operational Readiness Testing. The role requires writing traceable test cases covering various technical layers and domains such as TRP, HA, ITSM/ITOM, Business Support, BAM, and Observability.

The candidate will work closely with Observability & ITOM engineers, coordinate metrics validation, peer-review ServiceNow flows, maintain traceability matrices, and ensure alignment with technical environments (CSDM, CMDB). Expertise in Kubernetes/OpenShift, REST messaging, Dynatrace, Splunk, Jira, and Confluence is required.

Strong communication skills are necessary for collaborating with technical and business stakeholders. Experience in the payments or banking domain and familiarity with chaos engineering tools will be advantageous.
