Senior Network Design Engineer

Arrow Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Design Engineer to join our client’s technical operations team. The role is centered around designing, implementing, and optimizing complex networking environments—specifically within SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) frameworks. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement advanced network solutions aligned with customer requirements, focusing on SD-WAN and SASE deployments.

• Manage a queue of provisioning orders, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion according to SLAs and organizational standards.

• Gather, analyze, and document network design requirements, including IP routing, VPN configurations, firewall policies, voice routing, and redundancy strategies.

• Design and configure customer network topologies utilizing MPLS, DIA, Broadband, and Cellular connectivity technologies.

• Provide expert-level guidance on network deployment strategies, system integration, and performance optimization.

• Create detailed network configuration documentation, conduct activation readiness assessments, and ensure successful system deployment.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SD-WAN and SASE-related projects, mentoring junior engineers and sharing technical best practices.

• Conduct system optimization reviews to enhance efficiency, performance, and compliance with operational safety standards.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives, training programs, and quality audits to promote continuous improvement and standardization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to ensure technical solutions align with business and customer objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of total IT/networking experience, including at least 6 years in network design, provisioning, or configuration.

• Proven expertise in SD-WAN and SASE technologies with hands-on experience in enterprise-scale deployments.

• In-depth knowledge of MPLS, IP routing, VPNs, firewalls, and network security best practices.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to resolving complex network issues.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in customer-facing and team-based environments.

• Demonstrated experience in mentoring, training, and leading technical discussions within engineering teams.

• Strong documentation and reporting capabilities to maintain accuracy and transparency across project lifecycles.
