Description:

Weber Shandwick, a globally leading integrated public relations agency, is seeking a Senior Manager for its Social Media team in Toronto. The role involves creating compelling storytelling narratives and delivering them through social platforms and influencer campaigns. The candidate will collaborate with internal teams, lead strategy and execution, and mentor junior staff. Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply best-in-class social media practices across organic and paid platforms.

  • Support and lead development of social media and influencer strategies and proposals.

  • Manage social accounts, content calendars, and campaign execution.

  • Conduct landscape research and social listening to identify creative opportunities.

  • Lead content development and oversee day-to-day client social media relationships.

  • Mentor junior team members and provide development guidance.

  • Develop and lead end-to-end social-first influencer campaigns.

  • Analyze campaign performance, prepare reports, and provide insights.

  • Provide platform-specific guidance for issue and crisis management.

  • Educate agency teams on social media best practices and trends.

  • Assist with new business proposals and client presentations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of social media, digital marketing, and influencer landscape.

  • Experience across consumer and corporate sectors with adaptable strategies.

  • Strong analytical, strategic, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Proficiency with social analytics and monitoring tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Khoros, Sprout, etc.).

  • Experience with influencer management tools (Lefty, Upfluence, Traackr, Tagger, CreatorIQ) and social listening tools (Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Meltwater, Hootsuite).

  • Experience in setting up paid campaigns on major platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok).

  • BA/BS or equivalent degree in communications, digital marketing, or related field.
