Description:

Deloitte is seeking experienced tax professionals to join their Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) practice as Manager or Senior Manager specializing in SAP tax technology and automation. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse ERP system implementations, particularly focusing on indirect tax technology solutions such as ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avatax, and Sovos.

In this position, you will lead the day-to-day management of tax technology projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget while maintaining high quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and managing business requirements for SAP tax projects.

• Conducting functional design and solution configuration for tax processes.

• Designing efficient processes, developing scenarios, and conducting flow mapping.

• Performing rigorous system testing, providing tailored training, and defining robust support procedures.

• Developing and maintaining client relationships, supporting proposal strategies, and actively participating in pursuit teams.

• Contributing to the professional growth of team members through mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing.

You will work closely with both clients and Deloitte’s internal teams, fostering collaboration and driving innovation in tax function operations. Deloitte’s TTC team is at the forefront of leveraging technology to enhance clients’ tax functions, delivering both strategic and operational value. Candidate Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of tax experience, with demonstrated success in leading technology projects.

• Strong experience with indirect tax technology applications such as ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avatax, or Sovos.

• Hands-on expertise configuring indirect taxes (GST, HST, PST) in SAP.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Project management experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to lead end-to-end project delivery and manage project teams effectively.
