Description:
Deloitte, Canada’s largest 100% Canadian-owned professional services firm, is hiring a Senior Manager, Rewards, Equity & Incentives Tax Advisory to join its Global Employer Services (GES) team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a hybrid work model and available across multiple Canadian locations, including Moncton, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, and more.
As a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Rewards, Equity, and Incentives practice, you will play a strategic role in advising clients—both public and private—on the design, operation, and tax implications of compensation programs, incentive arrangements, and executive remuneration. The position involves technical analysis, strategic planning, and compliance services in areas such as equity-based compensation, bonus and pension structuring, and M&A-related incentive planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead advisory engagements related to employee rewards and incentive program design.
Provide tax and social security consulting for Canadian and global equity and compensation plans.
Direct post-M&A incentive plan strategy and alignment.
Analyze and identify tax savings opportunities.
Guide clients on the use of technology to enhance compliance and efficiency.
Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for internal teams and client-facing engagements.
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree with strong academic credentials.
Completed Master’s in Taxation or Accounting designation (CPA or equivalent).
Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in tax, compensation consulting, or a similar field.
Experience in designing compensation and equity programs is a strong asset.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Client-facing communication and interpersonal strengths.
Proven analytical problem-solving capabilities.
Flexibility to travel within Canada and occasionally internationally.
Bilingualism (French and English) is required due to national and global client interactions.
