Deloitte Canada is hiring a Senior Manager - Business Tax to join its expanding tax services team in Victoria, BC. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a hybrid work model. In this leadership role, you will work with both private and public clients to provide strategic tax guidance, income tax return preparation, tax provision review, and advisory services. You will also mentor junior staff and contribute to the overall development of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of clients
Prepare and manage income tax filings for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals
Examine tax provisions, draft tax opinions, and prepare relevant documentation
Lead teams in developing practical tax solutions and maintaining high service standards
Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery of quality work
Contribute to strategic decision-making, team development, and client relationship management
About the Team:
You will be part of a national team of tax professionals delivering fully integrated tax services, backed by Deloitte's global resources and industry-specific knowledge. The environment is collaborative, innovative, and tailored for continuous professional growth.
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree; CPA or accounting designation considered an asset
Master’s degree in taxation or successful completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course
7–10 years of relevant experience in Canadian Taxation
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Strong English language proficiency (verbal and written)

Proven client service orientation with the ability to build strong relationships
Ability to manage complex projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Commitment to continuous learning, mentorship, and professional development
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $116,000 to $215,000 annually
