Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services and Live-In Treatment; we are looking for a Senior Manager of Clinical Services to join us. You will provide clinical supervision and guide the work of a team of Registered Social Workers and Registered Psychotherapists. You will manage all clinical outpatient core services at YouthLink, including What’s Up Walk-In, Brief Therapy, Short Term Treatment for Families, Ongoing Therapy, Family Therapy and Group Therapy. You will work with the Director to implement new practice standards and decision-making on Measurement-Based Care. You will collaborate with the Senior Manager of Clinical Operations and the Data & Research Analyst to evolve and streamline all Core Services within the changing landscape of Children’s Mental Health Services.
What you bring:
- The education and certification. You have a Master’s degree in a psychotherapy-related field. You are licensed to practice and registered with a regulated health college which permits the delivery of the controlled Act of Psychotherapy. You have the Clinical Supervisory Designation specific to providing the controlled act of psychotherapy for individual and family therapy supervision. Your participation in coursework demonstrates continual learning in Equity, Diversity and Belonging practices. In addition, you may have Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Certification, Level 1 & 2; Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Certification; Canadian Association for Marriage & Family Therapy (CAMFT) Clinical Supervisor Certification.
- The management experience. You have held a clinical supervisor and practice manager role for organizations providing youth services, mental health or a related field, ideally working directly with communities in the Scarborough area for at least four or more years. You have demonstrable experience in implementing equity strategies in programs and services. You have site and team management experience, including exposure to human resource management (union experience is a strong asset), financial management, program management, evaluation design, or systems design.
- The clinical knowledge. You have three or more years of experience providing individual psychotherapy and family therapy. You have an in-depth understanding of best practices and current literature in psychotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, trauma assessments, critical incident stress debriefing, and evidence-based treatment methods
- The clinical leadership. You have a sound reputation and clearly articulate philosophy as a clinical leader with progressive, responsible clinical practice and three or more years of experience providing clinical supervision in Psychotherapy & Family Therapy.
- The ethical drive. You are a champion of Equity, Inclusion & Belonging, specifically focusing on Anti-Black Racism.
