Turo, the world’s largest car sharing marketplace, is seeking an innovative and visionary Senior Manager, Brand Marketing to lead all brand initiatives across Canada. This role presents an opportunity to build and expand one of the most dynamic brands in the travel and mobility industry — transforming how Canadians think about car rentals. You will drive national brand awareness, engagement, and adoption, positioning Turo as a beloved household name.

As the lead for Turo’s brand marketing in Canada, you’ll be responsible for developing comprehensive brand strategies, executing integrated campaigns, managing creative direction, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver exceptional brand experiences. This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, ideal for a creative marketing professional eager to make a national impact.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the brand strategy for Canada in alignment with Turo’s global vision, ensuring all initiatives resonate with Canadian audiences.

  • Manage and optimize brand health metrics while allocating budgets effectively across multiple marketing channels.

  • Conduct customer and competitive research to identify insights that shape marketing strategy and campaign direction.

  • Design and launch large-scale, integrated brand campaigns from concept to execution, with clear objectives and measurable business outcomes.

  • Oversee media planning and buying across TV, digital, social, out-of-home, and audio to maximize brand visibility and ROI.

  • Lead public relations efforts, working with agencies to secure impactful media coverage and elevate Turo’s national reputation.

  • Enhance Turo Canada’s social media and influencer presence by developing authentic and engaging content strategies.

  • Build partnerships with key influencers, ambassadors, and leading brands to strengthen Turo’s credibility and audience reach.

  • Manage the creative process, coordinating internal teams and external agencies to ensure consistent, high-quality output.

  • Mentor and lead a high-performing marketing team while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in brand management and marketing with at least 4 years in-house at a B2C brand.

  • Proven success in leading integrated marketing campaigns that deliver measurable brand and business growth.

  • Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation skills with a talent for building narratives that engage diverse audiences.

  • Experience managing PR, influencer, and social media programs with demonstrable results.

  • Creative problem-solver with an eye for design, brand consistency, and cultural relevance.

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Prior leadership experience managing teams and guiding creative direction.

  • Bonus: Experience with media buying, travel marketing, high-growth startups, or marketplace platforms.
