Senior Maintenance Manager

Give & Go Prepared Foods Corp., a proud member of Mondelēz International, is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager – Corporate to join their growing team at their head office in Etobicoke, Ontario. This full-time on-site leadership role plays a critical function in overseeing maintenance strategy, reliability programs, and asset performance across multiple bakery locations within the Greater Toronto Area.

The Senior Maintenance Manager will be responsible for implementing best-in-class maintenance practices, managing MRO procurement operations, optimizing CMMS usage, driving proactive reliability initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role involves leading site-level Maintenance Managers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop maintenance teams across all bakery sites

• Design and implement proactive and preventive maintenance programs

• Optimize and manage CMMS systems to enhance work and asset management

• Oversee MRO purchasing, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and spare part inventory

• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and industry regulations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in production, engineering, safety, and quality

• Monitor downtime metrics and lead root cause analysis (RCA) to eliminate recurring issues

• Guide site-level Maintenance Managers to promote consistent standards and practices

• Participate in automation technology adoption and capital projects

• Manage the reliability funnel, and align strategic maintenance planning with corporate goals

• Oversee maintenance of critical plant infrastructure and equipment such as boilers, refrigeration systems, HVAC, air compressors, and wastewater systems

Technical Expertise Required:

• Strong working knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems: hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, sensors, AC/DC circuits

• Familiarity with automation, PLCs, control systems, robotics, bulk handling systems

• Experience in facility maintenance: roof, dock, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, refrigeration systems (ammonia/freon/glycol), ventilation, fire suppression systems

• Proficiency in project planning and execution, budget management, and maintenance KPIs

• Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance, TPM, and continuous improvement tools
