Senior Mainframe Developer

Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Mainframe Developer to join a dynamic enterprise team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Mainframe application development, batch and online processing, database management, and file transfer integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise Mainframe applications

• Develop and maintain COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, and VSAM-based solutions

• Support both online transaction processing (IMS DC) and batch applications

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Perform production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

• Manage source code using enterprise version control tools

• Support job scheduling, batch processing, and workflow automation

• Work with file transfer services to manage inbound and outbound vendor data exchanges

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery

• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation activities

Required Skills & Experience:

✅ 8+ years of Mainframe Development experience
