Senior Linkedin Strategist

Description:

Abe, a bold new consultancy under the Directive brand, is hiring a Senior LinkedIn Strategist for a future opening to lead its B2B social media advertising efforts. This remote, full-time role in Canada presents a unique opportunity to help shape a new agency focused on advanced social media strategies, particularly LinkedIn campaigns, for mid-market and enterprise B2B clients.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and executing high-performance LinkedIn advertising campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue rather than vanity metrics. This includes strategic planning, client communication, campaign optimization, and cross-functional collaboration, all within a high-performance team culture where the best idea wins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead multiple mid-market and enterprise-level paid social accounts.

  • Build and optimize LinkedIn advertising campaigns using advanced ad units like conversation ads, document ads, and more.

  • Develop quarterly strategies tailored to client goals, budgets, and industry positioning.

  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics using analytics tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, etc.

  • Communicate effectively with client stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.

  • Drive client growth through renewals, upsells, and strategic expansion opportunities.

  • Ensure CRM alignment and accurate lead routing.

  • Maintain productivity, utilization, and contribute to agency KPIs like NSMs (North Star Metrics) and client satisfaction.

  • Occasionally travel to client locations (approx. once per year).

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in performance or digital marketing agency roles (preferably B2B).

  • Proven expertise in LinkedIn Ads and other paid social media platforms.

  • Experience with ad units like CTV, conversation ads, and advanced targeting options.

  • Proficiency with platforms like Zoominfo, 6Sense, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to create actionable strategies based on insights.

  • Strong storytelling ability using data, capable of influencing both client and team decisions.

  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with OCT (Objective, Challenge, Tactic) frameworks and audience segmentation.

  • Competitive, curious mindset; passionate about innovation and digital growth.

Preferred Assets:

  • Experience working with mid-market or enterprise clients.

  • Prior success driving results in paid LinkedIn strategies.

  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Managing five or more high-tier client accounts with a focus on client trust, satisfaction, and performance.

  • Achieving core KPIs related to growth, renewals, and campaign objectives.

  • Driving service alignment with client needs through cross-selling and referrals.

  • Exemplifying the company’s core values in every client and team interaction.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation and set living wage standard.

  • 100% employer-paid health coverage for employees, 50% for dependents.

  • Mental wellness support via Spring Health and Headspace.

  • Access to Gympass and other physical wellness programs.

  • Unlimited PTO (with a 2-week minimum), birthday off, end-of-year closure, and parental leave.

  • 401(k) with company match.

  • Annual tenure-based bonus and anniversary trip with leadership team.

Work Environment:

  • 100% remote within Canada (or other supported global locations with proper work authorization).

  • Requires ability to work long periods on a computer with reliable internet and a professional setup.

  • Collaboration via Zoom, Slack, and digital tools.
