Senior Legal Operations Analyst

Description:

The Senior Legal Operations Analyst supports the Head of North America Legal Operations and is responsible for managing and tracking Canadian insurance laws and regulatory changes (via Ethidex or other tools), handling manual case data, and submitting product filings during peak periods. The role also involves supporting legal department operational improvements, including new technologies, processes, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track Canadian insurance law/regulation changes using Ethidex and other platforms

• Support overall NA Legal department operational strategy execution

• Enter and monitor manual case data outside Ethidex

• Compile, analyze, and prepare strategic reports and presentations

• Submit product filings during peak periods

• Provide backup for mailboxes (GCO, NDA), CT Corp, Legal Tracker, Legal X, and other legal matters

• Participate in special projects and ad hoc tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Minimum 1 year insurance industry experience

• Familiarity with Canadian laws and regulations

• Product filing and technology implementation experience

• Strong project/process management skills

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to adopt AI tools for daily efficiency and data-driven decisions
