Senior Landscape Architect

Description:

Architecture49 Inc. is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join its Toronto office. This role focuses on delivering innovative landscape architecture solutions for a variety of projects, including transportation facilities and sports and entertainment venues, across the Greater Toronto Area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate internally and externally with Landscape Architects, Architects, Engineers, and Planners.

• Develop creative technical solutions and prepare visually compelling graphic presentations.

• Prepare and review conceptual design, design development, and construction documents, including details and specifications.

• Manage multiple projects and budgets while meeting deadlines.

• Prepare and review design briefs, cost estimates, and technical reports.

• Manage client and stakeholder expectations, including consultant coordination and approvals.

• Ensure project deliverables comply with local standards and contract requirements.

• Assist with contract administration and perform site inspections.

Qualifications:

• Professional degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program or equivalent.

• 7–10 years of relevant experience as a Landscape Architect.

• Member or Associate Member of OALA, or eligibility for membership.

• Knowledge of BIM principles and workflows preferred.

• Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Civil3D, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft 365.

• Bilingual (English and French) considered an asset.
