Description:
About the Senior Manager, IT & Systems Role
The Senior Manager, IT & Systems owns and evolves Venture for Canada’s internal technology ecosystem, including SaaS systems, workflow automation, AI tooling, and cybersecurity. This is a high-ownership role for a technical operator who combines systems thinking, hands-on execution, and strong project management. You will design and build systems, lead organization-wide tool rollouts, and ensure technology is secure, reliable, and widely adopted across the team. You will also manage VFC’s IT Help Desk & CRM Coordinator, overseeing day-to-day support, while building a scalable support function that enables continuous improvement.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Own and evolve VFC's systems strategy, tech stack, and vendor relationships
- Define system architecture, standards, and documentation while proactively identifying gaps and risks
- Build and maintain automations, integrations, and AI tooling to streamline data flow and reduce manual processes
- Lead end-to-end project management and delivery of systems initiatives, including stakeholder alignment, training, and change management
- Own cybersecurity across systems, including access controls, data protection, vendor risk, and incident response
- Oversee system administration, reliability, and support — resolving recurring issues at the root
- Manage and develop the IT Help Desk & CRM Coordinator, balancing reactive support with proactive improvement
- Partner with the data team to support reporting and data quality
