We are partnering with a globally recognized mining and construction leader - a key member of a major consortium driving the design and implementation of Canada’s long-term energy strategy. This multi-year, multi-billion-dollar project will set new standards for safety, sustainability, and innovation in underground storage.
As part of a new project office in Ontario, we’re seeking a Senior Information Management and Document Control Specialist to play a critical role in establishing and maintaining information management and security systems for this transformative project.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and administer the Information Management and Security Plan, ensuring robust information management aligned with project and consortium needs
- Lead the development of data security protocols to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of project information
- Administer and optimize project management systems, including SmartSheet, MIRO, PowerBI, SharePoint, OneNote, MS Office, and InEight
- Coordinate IT infrastructure need, including hardware and software, requirements for diverse project teams drawn from multiple partner organizations
- Manage project coordination tasks including budgets, forecasting, cost management, scheduling, and reporting
- Foster collaboration with external stakeholders to ensure project success and “best for project” outcomes
- Provide technical leadership to project teams, ensuring IT systems support seamless information sharing, security, and efficiency
✅ What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in developing and managing information management plans, ideally within complex, multi-party project environments (IPD, JV, Alliance, DBFM)
- Expertise in data security management, with a proven ability to design and implement secure, user-friendly systems
- Familiarity with key project management tools and collaboration platforms
- Experience in IT infrastructure coordination in collaborative, high-security environments
- Previous experience in the mining, construction, or infrastructure sector
- A collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and partners
- Eager to be part of an office-based team while drawing on field-based insights and experience
