Senior Information Architecture

Description:

Deloitte Global Technology is seeking a Senior Information Architecture professional to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping content structures to ensure optimized access and usability across Deloitte’s global network. In this role, you will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and content production teams. Working closely with the Information Architect Lead, you will be responsible for deploying and enhancing Deloitte’s content creation and curation framework, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and efficiency across multiple platforms.

Your typical day will involve defining content strategies, developing content models with proper usage of DITA standards, creating reusable content, and collaborating with content authors, editors, and UX designers. You will also design authoring templates, set standards for content reuse, determine taxonomy and search requirements, and oversee the transition of legacy content into new systems.

This position requires someone with vision, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor and train others in information architecture best practices. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver global initiatives while ensuring business objectives and content delivery requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Deloitte’s approach to content creation and curation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align content strategy with business goals.

• Define DITA content models, authoring templates, and content reuse standards.

• Maintain reusable content elements such as glossary terms, product names, and boilerplate text.

• Establish taxonomy, indexing, and faceted search requirements for content access.

• Identify and convert legacy content into modernized formats.

• Support content delivery strategies in collaboration with Product Owners.

• Mentor, coach, and train teams on content structuring and DITA usage.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in information architecture, with expertise in DITA.

• Proven track record in large-scale, global enterprise programs.

• Strong ability to conceptualize content strategies and structures.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in content analysis, reuse strategies, and semantic structuring.

• Experience mentoring, coaching, and training in information architecture practices.
