Description:
A senior HR leadership role responsible for overseeing HR operations and strategy at a large-scale manufacturing facility. The Plant HR Leader acts as a key partner to plant leadership, focusing on talent management, employee relations, compliance with labor laws, and driving organizational effectiveness within a global, matrix-led environment.
The role is critical in shaping a positive workplace culture, supporting workforce planning, and implementing HR processes that align with business goals. Leading a team of HR professionals, this position demands strong bilingual communication skills (English and French), strategic insight, and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a strategic HR partner to plant leadership, influencing decisions impacting business success
Lead workforce planning, staffing, and talent pipeline development to ensure optimal role alignment
Manage employee relations and engagement initiatives to support retention and a positive work environment
Ensure HR processes and policies comply with federal, state, and local employment laws
Drive cultural transformation and change management to improve workplace morale and efficiency
Use HR data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and measure outcomes

Required Qualifications:
8+ years of HR leadership experience, ideally in manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of HR fundamentals, employment law, and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Kronos)
Bilingual fluency in French and English (written and verbal)
Strategic thinker with ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives in a matrix organization
