Description:
The Condominium Authority of Ontario (CAO) is seeking a Senior Digital Communications Advisor to lead web content management and support the organization's communication and outreach activities. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive, and innovative professional capable of managing complex content strategies while ensuring a seamless digital user experience.
The CAO is a delegated administrative authority dedicated to enhancing consumer protection and supporting Ontario’s condominium communities through education, resources, and dispute resolution services. As part of its Communications, Marketing & User Experience (CMUX) team, this position plays a key role in shaping the organization’s digital presence and public engagement.
Manage and oversee all aspects of web content creation and updates, primarily on WordPress.
Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering skill development and collaboration.
Translate complex condominium consumer protection policies into clear, plain-language content that drives engagement.
Coordinate the rollout of new content aligned with legal updates, sector developments, and organizational priorities.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to enhance website user experience, accuracy, and SEO.
Ensure branding guidelines and accessibility standards are consistently implemented across all digital platforms.
Utilize modern tools, including AI-driven solutions, to review, optimize, and audit digital content.
Manage web communication projects from planning through execution, adhering to timelines and budgets.
Oversee translation of content into French and manage bilingual digital communication processes.
Continuously refine processes for auditing and improving content effectiveness.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in digital communications or content management.
Strong project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in WordPress and related plugins.
Excellent writing, editing, and research skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to building a positive public perception of the organization.
Knowledge of French is an asset.
