Dentsu is on a mission to drive business performance through data-driven digital marketing solutions. The Senior Digital Buyer plays a critical role in supporting clients by delivering innovative and results-oriented media strategies across digital platforms. The role involves planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of paid search and social campaigns, ensuring client objectives are consistently achieved.
The Senior Digital Buyer will work closely under the guidance of the Digital Media Manager, managing evergreen campaigns, promotional launches, and ongoing account optimization. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in media buying, client servicing, budget management, and campaign analytics.
Performance Media:
Execute digital campaign strategies across Search, Social, Display, and Programmatic channels.
Analyze campaign performance, identify issues, and implement optimizations.
Provide strategic recommendations aligned with client objectives.
Manage campaign pacing and account budgets with accountability.
Deliver timely campaign overview and performance reports.
Monitor competitors, client industries, and emerging trends to ensure ongoing innovation.
Continuously upgrade skills and adopt new media tools, features, and practices.
Account Management:
Support the media team in coordinating client digital campaigns with accurate data, budgets, and reports.
Build client relationships, manage expectations, and deliver consistent service excellence.
Ensure proper and timely invoicing for all campaigns while addressing over/under-delivery in collaboration with internal teams.
Research & Innovation:
Leverage platform insights to support client planning and media strategies.
Build and maintain relationships with key media platform partners.
Stay updated with new media trends, technologies, and industry events.
Post-secondary Degree/Diploma in Media, Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
3–4 years of digital media buying experience (Search, Social, Display, Programmatic).
Strong knowledge of media planning and buying tools.
Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to manage multiple deliverables and priorities effectively.
Strong communication and logical presentation skills.
Understanding of how Paid Search integrates with Display Media, Paid Social, and other channels.
Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Bing Ads and knowledge of Display, Mobile, Video, and Shopping advertising are beneficial.
Salary: CAD 55,000 – 60,000 annually (CAD 4,583 – 5,000 monthly).
