• Being responsible for the technical design and implementation of API-Proxies, while ensuring compliance with all relevant BASF development guidelines. Beyond that, you will support respective testing and error correction activities.
• Creating and further developing concepts for operation topics and implementing them in our team.
• Consulting of projects and other DevOps teams on the setup of integration scenarios in API-Management.
• Coaching and training of colleagues in the development of APIs.
• Investigating new tools on the market and checking how they can support BASF in their digital strategy.
• Conceptional work in the area of security, monitoring, logging, testing, and documentation.
• Supporting in error correction activities and Incident Management.

If you have...

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, with focus on agile methodologies.
• Expertise in API design, implementation and documentation, emphasizing security.
• Knowledge of OAuth, Swagger/OpenAPI Specification, JSON, programming in JavaScript.
• Familiarity with tools such as Apigee Edge, SAP API Gateway, Azure API Proxy, Azure DevOps, Confluence, HTTP test tools, automation by using Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Experience in programming languages as Javascript.
• Familiarity with digital technologies such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
