Description:

Ateko, formerly known as FXi and a subsidiary of Bell Canada since 2023, is actively seeking a Senior Developer or IT Consultant for a 12-month renewable mandate within a strategic banking project. Founded in 2002, Ateko focuses on innovation, sustainability, and responsible technology, aiming to help clients achieve competitive business objectives.

In this role, you will design, develop, and evolve robust and secure software solutions aligned with business needs in a large-scale Master Data Management (MDM) environment. You will work in an Agile/Scrum setting, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to implement technical solutions that drive performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Solution Design & Development

• Analyze client requirements and recommend appropriate technology solutions

• Develop strategies, write clean and maintainable code, and document applications

• Build and maintain software with automated testing practices to ensure high quality

🔹 System Integration & Implementation

• Participate in installation, testing, and deployment of applications

• Ensure seamless integration of technical components and resolve any technical issues

🔹 Team Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Act as a technical expert and help drive project milestones and delivery

Required Competencies:

Technical Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in a similar software development role

• Proven experience in complex development projects

• Mastery of clean code principles, clean architecture, and design patterns

• Hands-on experience with TIBCO EBX (formerly Orchestra Networks)

• In-depth understanding of MDM/RDM, data modeling, and data governance

• Proficient in XPath, JavaScript, SQL, REST/SOAP APIs

• Familiarity with automated testing tools such as BDD, Gherkin/Cucumber is an asset

• Experience with alternative MDM solutions (e.g., Informatica, IBM DataStage, Ataccama, Kafka) is an advantage

Language Requirements:

• Bilingual: Fluency in both French and English (oral and written) is required
