Senior Data Analyst

Description:

NearSource Technologies is seeking a skilled Senior Data Analyst to support enterprise-scale data engineering and analytics initiatives for a Fortune 500 product company. This hybrid role, based in Toronto, Canada (with 3 days remote work per week), is ideal for a data professional who thrives in high-impact environments, is detail-oriented, and excels at deriving actionable insights from complex datasets.

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing data operations, building scalable pipelines, and enhancing automated marketing campaigns through data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and complex data models aligned with business objectives

• Ensure data integrity, quality, and validation across systems and workflows

• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns of non-compliance or misuse

• Optimize data infrastructure to support automated campaign execution and performance tracking

• Work with stakeholders to deliver insightful analytics and campaign strategies

• Improve system performance and scalability for high-volume campaign workflows

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in data analytics and engineering

• Expertise in Python, advanced SQL, and Spark

• Strong experience with AWS, Airflow, Git, Snowflake, and DBT

• Familiarity with Salesforce and Adobe Analytics

• Proficient in BI tools and Excel

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

• Excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and stakeholder management

• Analytical mindset with a solid track record of data-driven decision making

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Power BI dashboards

• Exposure to Data Science, Machine Learning, or MLOps environments

• Relevant technical certifications are an added advantage
