Description:

Deloitte Canada is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Consultant to join its Deal Transformation & Post Merger Integration (DT&PMI) team within the Strategy, Risk, and Transactions (SRT) – Mergers & Acquisitions practice. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact transformation projects that help clients navigate the complexities of mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and enterprise profitability initiatives.

As a Senior Consultant, you will play a critical role in quantifying and implementing strategies to drive cost reduction, revenue growth, and operational excellence for client organizations across Canada. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary Deloitte teams to deliver transformative solutions that improve financial performance and enable long-term success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Transformation: Execute process improvement initiatives and implement data-driven management systems to optimize client operations.

  • Financial Analysis: Collect, analyze, and synthesize financial and operational data to identify actionable insights and performance improvement opportunities.

  • Project Execution: Manage workstreams, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to Deloitte’s quality standards.

  • Client Engagement: Work side-by-side with client leadership to support strategy execution, performance monitoring, and post-merger integration activities.

  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present progress reports, performance updates, and analytical findings to clients and Deloitte management.

  • Business Development: Contribute to proposal development and business case analyses to support client acquisition and engagement growth.

  • Compliance and Travel: Ensure compliance with client safety standards and be available for travel across Canada and the US (up to 100% travel when client site-based).


Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field).

  • Experience:

    • At least 3 years of relevant experience in management consulting, operational improvement, or transformation-based roles.

    • Proven success in delivering measurable operating cash flow improvements.

    • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and post-deal integration processes is highly desirable.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong financial and operational acumen.

    • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

    • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

    • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

    • Bilingualism (French and English) required for positions based in Quebec.

    • Willingness to travel extensively and work directly with clients on-site.


Compensation and Benefits:

Deloitte offers a competitive salary range of CAD 58,000 – 138,000 annually (approx. CAD 4,833 – 11,500 monthly), complemented by a comprehensive rewards package, including:
